Allison and Jeremy
It’s 4 pm right now, in January, and it’s already been dark out for 20 minutes. I feel the cold in my toes and hot tea just isn’t doing anything to warm me up but as I look through Allison and Jeremy’s wedding photos I can quite literally feel the sun shining down on me. This amazing wedding at Centennial Beach was so perfectly summery that I could live in these photos.
When I first met Allison and Jeremy over a beer in East Van I knew immediately that if I didn’t book their wedding I’d be missing out. They laughed whole-heartedly the entire time and have a sweetness about them that makes you want to be their friend. Allison beams when she talks about their love of everything Disney and Jeremy beams when he looks at Allison.
Their wedding was held at Beach Grove Golf Course in Delta, BC with photos being done at Centennial Beach, which if you don’t know it, you should. The area has beach, it has forest, and it has driftwood everywhere. It’s one of my favourite locations for weddings in Delta and I always take a chance to go there. We got a perfectly sunny spring day and the deep burgundy bridesmaids dresses pop from the young greenery everywhere. They had little Disney details sprinkled throughout their decor and the speeches had me cry-laughing all night. I know you can’t hear the words through the photos, but do me a favour and scroll down to the photo of Allison’s dad holding up her drawing of a perfect husband. I think you’ll see the resemblance to Jeremy… if you squint.
