It’s not very often that I can be convinced to get up before sunrise. Only fishing, catching a flight to a faraway land and of course, awesome engagement sessions with adorable couples.
I met Sarah and Daniel through some mutual friends who’s wedding I photographed in Kelowna, BC. As soon as Sarah and Daniel got engaged we knew that we wanted to work together. They are the perfect combination of silly, hilarious, and sweet, making them exactly my favourite kind of people.
When planning their session we tossed around the idea of a late afternoon shoot, but they’re both early risers so I wiped the sleep out of my eyes and set out to Lighthouse Park before sunrise. We got a dark and overcast morning, but the dampness gave the rocks the perfect amount of colour and saturation and I totally fell in love with this spot.
