Jordan and Jeff

Jordan and Jeff are such cuties! The smiles these two had on their faces through hail, wind, rain and sun on their Fraser Valley wedding day were absolutely contagious and are such a testament to being able to focus on the important parts of your wedding day, specifically that you get to marry your best friend! Of course, the weather can be hard to ignore but when your venue is as pretty as Meadow Gardens Golf Course in Pitt Meadows your can escape the storm clouds and still have a pretty great day.

We started our day together for a first look literally minutes after an insane hail storm rolled through Golden Ears Provincial Park in the Fraser Valley. We got super lucky with the dark clouds staying at bay for a while and managed to play with a bit of sunshine to help add to the drama of the landscape. From there we followed the rain to Pitt Meadows where nothing stopped Jordan and Jeff from saying their vows outside. And on cue, as soon as they started their recessional down the aisle the sun came out once again and stayed out for the rest of the day.

One of the things that I loved about Jordan and Jeffs Fraser Valley wedding were how they incorporated a ton of games into their day to keep their guests entertained and the energy level up! Jordan is a baker, so they played “which cookie did Jordan bake?”, “which guy is your husband?” and a version of the shoe game that involved hiking gear, obviously speaking to who these two are and elements that are important to their relationship. Still after 13 years of being a wedding photographer I love seeing how different couples make their wedding their own, and these two definitely did that!

Thanks for a super fun and sweet day you two! I can’t wait to see what you get up to next 🙂
