Karen and JP
Last year it was this couple, my last wedding couple of the season, that made the biggest impact on my year. Not only was their Loft at Earls Yaletown wedding an epic, hilarious, and liver testing good time, but Karen and JP have become super dear to my heart. We had friends trying to get us to meet for a year, and then of all ways we get to know each other it’s through their most intimate day.
I could say a lot of mushy shit about these two, but I think the energy captured in these images says it all. Every single person in that room left with more smile wrinkles, and we’re all the better for it.
Karen and JP knew when they got engaged that they wanted a fun wedding, in a venue that has a stylish but vintage feel that would be intimate enough for a small-ish wedding. The Loft at Earls in Yaletown completely delivered and spoiled us rotten all night. The entire events team, chefs, bar staff…literally everyone was a delight and the whole day went off without a hitch (except that I forgot to eat pizza when the late night snacks came out).
I’m already looking forward to our next drinks together you guys (and thanks for all the friends you’ve sent my way!).
