A rustic bohemian wedding with Emma and Greg

Greg and Emma’s rustic bohemian Birds Eye Cove Farm wedding on Vancouver Island was the kind of wedding that makes me so happy to be a wedding photographer. Not only was the location super dreamy, but the room was filled with pretty florals, vintage brass decor and gorgeous linens hand-dyed by the bride herself. So, basically everything that makes my eyes pop out of my head and my heart skip a beat.

When I first met Emma and Greg through a mutual friend I immediately decided that we had to be friends. Once I found out that they were engaged I couldn’t help but fantasize about shooting their wedding and I mayyyyyy have stalked them slightly until they finally inquired with me (in a good way though, I promise!). They’re both so funny and sweet and have the kind of connection that makes you want to be around them all the time.

When the time to do their engagement photos (see them here) I went from wanting to be friends to wanting to be best friends. We had so much fun, and it only made working together for their wedding that much more awesome. All the love plus a team of incredible vendors made this the perfect way to end my 2018 wedding season, and with this one fresh in my heart I’m ready to start it all over again!
