Or…rather, my favourite moments with all of you.
Going through my social media feeds these past few weeks I’ve been inundated with all of the incredible Best of 2018 posts from colleagues and friends and I have to say, it was definitely a kick in the butt to finally gather some of my favourite moments of 2018. I was just going to nap for the last two weeks of the year, but instead here I am (still in my pyjamas mind you) looking through each and every photo I’ve sent off to clients for the past 12 months.
It’s no easy task being your own judge. Looking at your own work, even from a few months ago, can be so intimidating and even a little bit confidence crushing at times. Have I progressed? Am I continuing to push myself creatively? Did I even do anything cool this year? Were my clients happy? I personally find it nearly impossible to be able to choose my “Best Of”, so I just go through and choose my favourite moments of the year. Screw it, I make my own rules, right? 🙂
2018 was the year of amazing elopements, DIY taken to all new levels, cider farms, awe-inspiring landscapes, gut-bustlingly hilarious engagement sessions, and meeting incredibly cool couples and families who trusted me to capture some of their most important moments. Thank you a million times to all of you who made 2018 totally kick-ass!
Now, back to napping, because I still have a few days of down time until it all starts again!
